2017 – Present: Founder of Aarya Legal – a 100% black women owned and staffed – legal, B-B BEE and transformation consultancy providing commercial legal, labour law and governance services to entrepreneurs, non-profit companies, corporates and schools. Wenwork with a number of incubator and accelerator programmes.

2013 – July 2017: Novate Legal – I co-founded a law firm based on providing innovative fixed fee legal services to entrepreneurs and non-profit companies. We focussed on commercial legal services, labour law, transactional work and broad-based black economic empowerment strategies. I pioneered the Board Ready Woman program in conjunction with the 30% Club of South Africa.

2011: Researcher in the Business and Human Rights unit of the European Centre for Constitutional and Human Rights. This
position involved in-depth research and case preparation.

2008 – 2011: Associate at Webber Wentzel, a corporate law firm. I worked in the labour department and insurance and aviation
litigation department.

2006 – 2007 Candidate Attorney at Webber Wentzel.

2005 – 2007 Lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand in the laws of Succession and Family Law.

2005: Legal Researcher to the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court of South Africa, Arthur Chaskalson and, later, to the Deputy Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court of South Africa, Dikgang Moseneke.
